[Eridan in the meantime is washing away his embarrassment in the bathroom. And by washing away I mean he is basically dunking his face into the water and screaming into it. Hoping the cuttlefish in the sea can hear his teenage angst. It isn't so much the pail incident that brought this outburst on but his frustration with everything. Why is being a teenaged troll such a hard life. Whyyy.

He sits down to the side, trying to cool his burning face. He wishes there was some slime to sleep in, it'd be pretty soothing to all their problems right about now. But alas, there is no slime so he has to suck it up and behave like a big troll. Which he does. Poorly.

[Japan will be making note of monster locations on the map (as far as he knows) as well, but he pauses to glance up.]

[ God he's tired. Finally turning to Japan, glancing irritably between himself and Eridan. Here is where he points accusingly. Again. ]

[ Actually, now that he thinks about it, Karkat has to wonder if Japan is from the same Earth as the Kids. He'll think on it more after he's completed his "don't sleep for a week to rid self of the nightmares" experiment. In the mean time, back to taunting Eridan. ]

Ignoring that and any other calls on his name, he looks to Eridan and then back to the map to address the lake.]

Trust me, Karkat would have much to say in relation to Eridan being wrong about everything, almost as much as he would have to say about the mechanics of troll romance to Japan, but he's a little to busy trying to breathe. He hasn't eaten since Japan fed him, he hasn't slept, he bled all over, he's as weak as a normal human, and now he's being punched. That's enough to send a troll to his knees.

And while he's down here he'll just start biting at Eridan's ankles. Actions speak more than words, after all. This is speaking in all the capslock Karkat can't manage at the moment. ]

[ And that's when Eridan feels a sharp and dull pain at his ankles. He calmly, and very casually, looks down at Karkat. He's slightly annoyed by this land grubbers antiques and attempts to crush the candy corn troll's skull in with his foot. That is to say he places his foot on Karkat's head and gives his foot a good hard shove.]

Ahh, there are creatures, though it is hard to say what types... The last time I attempted to discover this, it did not end well, so--
